Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year

QUEENS, NY (09/17/2025) (readMedia)-- In advance of Rosh Hashanah, JCRC-NY will host a celebration bringing together community leaders and elected officials from across New York to mark the Jewish New Year, 5786. Participants will experience the joy, traditions, and significance of the holiday over a shared meal featuring Jewish foods. The event is co-sponsored by the UJA-Federation of New York and the Queens Jewish Community Council.
