The Sherman College Chiropractic Center recognizes an intern each month who demonstrates excellence in clinical performance, patient management, professionalism, and analytical and adjusting technique. This honor reflects a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.
DC2B Olivia Miller, a 12th-quarter intern from Ottawa, OH, was recently recognized as an Intern of the Month for April 2026.
"I am truly honored to be recognized as Intern of the Month. I want to thank the case doctors who have supported me throughout this journey, especially Dr. Gardner and Dr. Hock. Their guidance, patience, and encouragement have shaped the way I care for my patients and have helped me to adapt as life and clinic have become more challenging. This past year has been one of great personal and professional growth for me. I am grateful to my patients for trusting me, learning with me, and allowing me to walk alongside them in their health journey. The most meaningful part of this experience has been caring for patients throughout my own pregnancy. Adjusting patients while nine months pregnant has been a powerful reminder of how resilient, adaptable and intelligent the body truly is. After graduation, I plan to return to Northwest Ohio to serve expecting mothers and children. My passion is to support the body's innate ability to heal during the postpartum period, helping women recover, adapt, and thrive in new motherhood."
We are proud to recognize this achievement and celebrate the dedication it represents. Congratulations to Olivia on this well-deserved recognition.
