Simons Foundation, Stony Brook University to Announce Major Gift and Partnership

STONY BROOK, NY (05/10/2022) (readMedia)-- On Wednesday, Stony Brook University and the Simons Foundation will announce a new partnership that will create a training ground for the next diverse generation of leaders in science, technology, engineering, and related fields. The Simons Foundation, led by David Spergel, was co-founded by New York-based philanthropists Jim and Marilyn Simons '74 PhD '84, and is an international leader in funding scientific education and research.
