Hartwick College's flag football program hauled in six Empire 8 All-Conference selections during its inaugural season. The blue and white placed six student-athletes on the All-Conference teams, trailing only regular season champion SUNY Geneseo, which led the way with seven honorees.
Senior captain Ellie Kalbach '26 (Spring City, Pennsylvania) and first-year standout Ziyon Harrison '29 (Clay, New York) earned First Team Defense honors, while Audra Doll '29 (Greene, New York) added a Second Team selection at linebacker. Hartwick was also well represented on the Second Team Offense, landing three Hawks on the list, headlined by first-year quarterback Audra Doll. Bailey McCoy '28 (Otego, New York) and Anne Stanavich '27 (Amsterdam, New York) earned Second Team honors for their roles as receivers.
In addition to the all-conference honors, senior center Brooke Sands '26 (Antwerp, New York) was selected as the team representative for the Empire 8 Tomorrow's Leaders Team. This team honors a student-athlete who has emerged as a leader not only on the field of play, but in the classroom and in the community.
The Hawks enjoyed a strong inaugural campaign, finishing with four wins, including three in conference play, and punched their ticket to the inaugural Empire 8 Championship Tournament.
