Spokane native presents research at annual undergraduate conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (05/04/2012)(readMedia)-- McKenzie Momany of Spokane, Wash. recently presented at the annual Whitman College Undergraduate Conference on Tuesday, April 10. Her presentation was titled "The Role of Macrophages and Interleukin-33 in Pulmonary Inflammatory Reponses."

Momany, the daughter of George and Karen Momany, is a graduate of Lewis and Clark High School. He is currently a sophomore biochemistry, biophysics, and molecular biology major at Whitman.

The undergraduate conference is an annual opportunity for Whitman students to share their research and creative projects with the community. Presentations are given by students in all disciplines.
