State Comptroller DiNapoli to Keynote NYS GFOA Annual Conference

ALBANY, NY (03/24/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Government Finance Officers' Association, Inc. (NYS GFOA) today announced that New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli will Keynote the Association's 31st Annual Conference on Thursday, March 25th at 8:30 a.m. at the Albany Marriott Hotel in Albany, New York.

The Conference, held March 24-26, provides over 20 sessions covering a wide array of topics in the core areas of governmental financial management as well as information on state and federal changes in legislation and regulations. Over 50 companies and state agencies will be exhibiting. The Association is expecting over 500 attendees at this year's Conference.

The NYS GFOA is an not-for-profit educational membership association of 1,100 finance professionals statewide dedicated to strengthening the capacity of government finance professionals to manage public finances effectively and responsibly and to use the collective knowledge and expertise of its members for the public benefit by enhancing government efficiency and accountability throughout New York State.
