State Principals of the Year Honored at Local Ceremony
ALBANY, NY (04/29/2011)(readMedia)-- The School Administrators Association of New York State (SAANYS) will hold its 2011 statewide awards ceremony to acknowledge the New York State Principals of the Year as well as other statewide award winners.
| WHO: | Elementary Principal of the Year * - Kevin Hulbert, Elementary Principal, Ausable Valley CSD Middle School Principal of the Year * - Anael Alston, Middle School Principal, Glen Cove City SD High School Principal of the Year * - Margaret Blowers, High School Principal, Broadalbin-Perth CSD Irving Schwartz Award (for a Retiree) - Timothy Wagner, Retired from Rochester City SD Outstanding Educator Award - Brian Bellair, Director of Special Programs, Whitesboro CSD James E. Allen Award - William Kresse, Principal, Buffalo City SD Leadership and Support Award - Deborah Arlington, Coordinator, Erie #1 BOCES T. Walsh McQuillan Award - Brian Brooks, Primary School Principal, Palmyra-Macedon CSD K-12 Building Principal - Susan Shene, Principal, Clifton-Fine Central School District * These winners will also be honored at the national level by SAANYS' affiliates, the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. SAANYS represents over 7,200 school administrators, supervisors, and coordinators. As a professional association, SAANYS provides direction, service and support to the membership in their efforts to improve the quality of education and leadership in New York State schools. |
