Staunton Parks and Recreation Announces Family Night Flix Line-Up

STAUNTON, VA (05/19/2010)(readMedia)-- The Staunton Parks and Recreation Department will kick off the Family Night Flix Series on Friday Night, June 4th. Family Flix is an adaptation of the popular Friday Night Flix Series from years past. All movies are held on Friday Nights and shown on the X-treme Screen at the Bandstand in Gypsy HIll Park. Movie goers should bring a chair or blanket and get there early to select a prime spot on the lawn. Shenanodah Pizza will provide food each night for purchase. They will specialize in pizzas using fresh ingredients and offering both regular and honey whole wheat crusts. There will also be a selection of beverages as well as movie candy. All movies will start at dusk unsually between 8:30pm and 9:15pm. Consider bringing blankets as the evenings tend to get chilly.

August 13 G-Force

September 10 Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
