STAUNTON, VA (08/10/2010)(readMedia)-- The Staunton Parks and Recreation quaterly brochure set to be delivered by August 28th will not carry several of the department's athletic league deadlines. The deadlines for these leagues happen before the brochure is set to be delivered to Staunton, therefore they are being publicized separate and ahead of the brochure. These leagues and deadlines are as follows:

Co-Ed Frostbite Softball

This league will begin in September and run six weeks with a minimum of 10 games. All roster forms must be submitted with payment.

Price: $220 per team

Register by: August 20

Men's Fall Softball League

This league will have a minimum of 10 games and two divisions for a six week season, beginning late August. All roster forms must be submitted with payment.

Price: $220 per team

Register by: August 20

Co-ed Fall Volleyball

This league will begin in September and run approximately 8 weeks with a minimum of 10 games played. League will be played on Sunday evenings at the Gypsy Hill Park Gym.

Price: $100 per team

Register by: August 25

Men's Flag Football

7 on 7 screen Flag football. All team rosters and payment must be submitted with payment. League will begin on September 12th. For more information, please call (540) 332-3945.

Co-Ed Adult Kickball - Price: $100/ team Deadline: September 3rd.
