Staunton Parks and Recreation Travels to Major League Baseball Game

Washington Nationals Versus the Atlanta Braves

STAUNTON, VA (07/22/2010)(readMedia)-- The Staunton Parks and Recreation Department will travel to Washington DC for the Washington Nationals vs. Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball game on July 29th.

Take a trip to Nationals Park to see the Nats face Braves batters Prado, Infante and Blanco - all with batting averages over .300 - and, If we are lucky, to see Braves pitcher Tim Hudson who has one of the league leading Earned Run Averages of 2.60.

The Braves are in second place in the National League, and have the third best record in the Major Leagues. We are sure to see some great baseball talent either on the mound or at the plate.

A bus will depart from Gypsy Hill Gym at 8AM for the 12:35PM game time. $65 per person includes ticket and BUS transportation.
