Strongsville, Ohio, resident named Marietta College's 2018 Outstanding Young Alumnus

MARIETTA, OHIO (10/22/2018) Nick Manson '08, a vice president and branch manager at three Charles Schwab branches in Ohio, recently received the Outstanding Young Alumnus award from his alma mater, Marietta College.

Manson, of Strongsville, Ohio, was honored during the Marietta College Alumni Association Awards ceremony on Saturday, October 13th.

He currently leads a team of financial consultants in providing full-service brokerage services at the Westlake and Akron, Ohio, branches.

"There are so many deserving alumni who should be standing at this spot, and some of them are in this room right now," he said. "But I thank you for choosing me. I'm really humbled to accept this."

Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy back in 1797, the College was officially chartered in 1835. Today Marietta College serves a body of 1,200 full-time students.
