Student African Drum Ensembles

McDaniel College students performed in the Student African Drum Ensemble on Thursday, Nov. 17. The performance took place at 7 p.m. in Baker Memorial Chapel at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md.

The Ensembles were under the direction of McDaniel music department faculty member Pape Demba "Paco" Samb, a "Senegalese Griot," or West African historian, storyteller, singer, poet, dancer, and musician.
