Students Attend PLEN STEM Policy Seminar

Annabella Bastien '23 and Morgan Bentley '24 attended the PLEN STEM Policy seminar on March 14-16. For 40 years, PLEN has been bringing women and marginalized gender groups from across the country and the world to Washington, D.C. to explore careers in policy and connect with public policy leaders.

The students had the opportunity to hear from women who are doing the work in STEM Policy and network with them as well as students from other institutions. Some of the sessions included STEM Policy, National & Data Security, Environmental Science & Policy, and Launching a career in STEM policy as well as advice on securing and succeeding in a career on Capitol Hill.
