Students Named NACC Athletes of the Year

Freshman Holly Denfeld (Edgar, Wis.) of the MSOE women's basketball team was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Freshman of the Year Monday when the conference announced its post-season awards. Denfeld was also named to the All-NACC First Team, while sophomore Megan Kroll (Weston, Wis.) was selected to the All-NACC Second Team and senior Shannon Larson (Bollingbrook, Ill.) earned Honorable Mention honors. Freshman Corrine Sanford (Crestwood, Ky.) joined Denfeld on the All-Freshman Team.
