Summit Resident Elected to Villanova Alumni Association Board of Directors

VILLANOVA, PA (08/25/2011)(readMedia)-- Four Villanova University alumni have been elected to the Villanova University Alumni Association (VUAA) Board of Directors, the governing body that establishes the overall strategic direction of the VUAA. Maryalice Morro, '83 Nursing; Thomas V. Sanzone, '68 Engineering; Patricia M. Esposito, '80 A&S; and Stephen P. Murphy, '85 A&S; will serve three-year terms representing the VUAA within the University community and providing guidance to the Office of Alumni Relations.

Stephen P. Murphy, of Summit, N.J., is the Director of Sales and Trading at Collins Stewart LLC. He is the host of the local cable show "Murph and the Mayor," and also serves as a city councilman. Mr. Murphy, the parent of Villanova sophomore Shannon, is a Villanova Parent Ambassador and the chairperson of the Class of 1985's 25th Reunion. Very active in the community, he is also the Board President of the local Police Athletic League and is a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.
