PHILADELPHIA, PA (08/01/2011)(readMedia)-- Susan Hoey, a Year III doctoral student in the Department of Professional Psychology at Chestnut Hill College has been elected Chair-Elect of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association of Graduate Students (PPAGS). Susan received her master's degree in counseling psychology from New York University in 2005 and earned her LPC degree in 2009.
She is currently working on her dissertation in which she is investigating how college students decide to enter into counseling services. Susan previously served as a student representative on the PPAGS Board of Directors. In addition, she has worked within the Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA) as a state advocacy coordinator and membership committee volunteer. Susan currently lives in southern New Jersey and works as a per diem therapist in Margate, NJ and Cherry Hill, NJ.
