MILTON , MA (02/22/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce that Sutton resident, Samantha Valletta, daughter of Amy and Steven Valletta, will be appearing as Dulcibella in A.A. Milne's classic fable, The Ugly Duckling, a part of the Black Box show, Twisted Tales. A 2010 graduate of Holy Name High School, Samantha previously performed in Anything Goes as Angel. Currently a Curry College sophomore majoring in communication with a concentration in theatre and public relations, Samantha made her acting debut at Curry College with the show Deathbed as Alicia, and continued to perform on the Curry College stage in Bat Boy; The Musical as Lorraine, as well as Sandrine in the production of Almost Maine.
Featuring two darkly funny fables, The Ugly Duckling, by A.A. Milne, and Oscar Wilde's Birthday of the Infanta, Twisted Tales is a show for grownups and mature children. It comes to the Curry stage February 25 -27 at 7:30 p.m., with an additional Sunday matinee performance at 2:30 p.m., in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus of Curry College, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Option 2).
