Tea Time Treats Win State Fair Honors
DES MOINES, IA (09/03/2024) (readMedia)-- Margaret Stoffregen of Des Moines won First and Second Place Overall and a $250 cash award in the Let's Have Tea competition judged Thursday, August 8, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.
Contestants were tasked to create an entry that is suitable for tea.
Entries were judged on taste, appearance and creativity

The Iowa State Fair Food Department is the largest of any state fair in the country. There were 140 divisions, 726 classes and over 6,400 entries at this year's Fair. Food Department judging is held in the Elwell Family Food Center.
