Tessa Dudunake Of Northampton, Mass. Garners GNAC Rookie of the Week Honors

CHICOPEE, MA (12/15/2009)(readMedia)-- Elms College freshman swimmer Tessa Dudunake of Northampton, Massachusetts was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference's (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the week of Dec. 7-13 as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Dudunake was Elms' top performer against UMass-Dartmouth, adding a trio of top finishes to help pace the Blazers in the meet. Dudunake recorded winning times in the 50-yard breaststroke (33.87), the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.06) 100-yard individual medley (1:06.87). This is also the second time Dudunake has received rookie of the week accolades so far this season.
