STAUNTON, VA (03/03/2010)(readMedia)-- After months of deliberation and anticipation, the steering committee for The Awakening Common-Unity has announced the long awaited date for the 2010 event in Gypsy Hill Park. It's final and you can mark your calendars- August 28, 2010. This will be the third year for the event and organizers are expecting a large turnout as they build on and learn from previous years. Presentations at the event will reflect the groups' "Notions about 2010".
The community is encouraged to join us on August 28th in Gypsy Hill Park for Awakening Common-Unity 2010. The organizers of this event invite you to participate in this enlightening experience. The occasion will feature over 50 vendors, exhibitors and presenters. The group has an ongoing commitment to raising awareness of green and sustainable possibilities within our community. Building on last year's expanded interest, there are three vendor/exhibitor categories: Land Stewardship, Natural Health and Personal Growth, and Green Living Architecture. We will have healthful food vendors, a variety of entertainment, scheduled educational presentations, and children's education stations.
