STAUNTON, VA (05/11/2010)(readMedia)-- The Boys and Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County is now accepting application for their summer day camp. The camp begins on June 14th and operates 8 weeks through August 6th from 8am-5:30pm Monday-Friday. Any child or teen ages 6-18 is eligible to attend. Campers will have opportunities to participate in arts and crafts, cooking, skating, swimming, organized games, review in Math and English, Field Trips and much more. The Staunton unit of the Boys and Girls Club is housed at Booker T. Washington Community Center at 1114 W. Johnson Street, Staunton, Virginia.
The cost of the camp is $105 for the entire 8 week summer day camp. The $105 fee breaks down as follows; $5 membership fee, $20 registration fee, $10/week camp fee. Some field trips will require an additional fee. Lunches and two snacks are provided at NO additional charge. Registration forms are available at Booker T. Washington Community Center, 1114 W. Johnson Street, or Staunton or at the Staunton Recreation Dept. in Montgomery Hall Park. The forms are also downloadable at www.staunton.va.us/recreation (look for new - top right).
