NEW ROCHELLE, NY (02/23/2012)(readMedia)-- The College of New Rochelle (CNR) has announced the appointment of James Alan Reichbach, Vice Chairman, Global Head of Banking & Securities of Deloitte, to the College's Board of Trustees.

Mr. Reichbach is leader of Deloitte's global banking and securities practice. In this capacity he oversees Deloitte's services provided to the banking industry which includes assurance, tax, consulting and financial advisory services globally. In addition to the industry leadership role, Mr. Reichbach serves as the US and Global Lead Client Service Partner for Bank of America. He was the leader of Deloitte Consulting's Global Banking and Securities practice, and earlier he led Deloitte's Financial Institutions Practice in Central and Eastern Europe, based out of Budapest and Moscow.

A frequent guest on CNBC's Power Lunch and Bloomberg TV, Mr. Reichbach is often quoted in the media, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and American Banker.

A graduate of New York University with a BA in Management, he has his MBA from New York University. Today he is an Adjunct Professor of International Business at Ramapo State College in New Jersey, a Board Member of Wall Street Rising, Recruiting Member for New York University, a member of the Economic Club of New York, and a supporter of Women on Wall Street.

In making the appointment of Mr. Reichbach to The College of New Rochelle's Board of Trustee, President Judith Huntington said, "Given the complex state of the global economy, Jim brings to his Board position invaluable expertise on worldwide financial markets. He will provide important guidance as we pursue our strategic agenda, particularly in the financial arena."
