NEW ROCHELLE, NY (03/15/2012)(readMedia)-- The College of New Rochelle's (CNR) Castle Gallery will host The Westchester Biennial 2012 – a juried exhibit featuring 20 Westchester artists. Selections of paintings, installation, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and works on paper created in the last two years will be on view at CNR's Castle Gallery beginning Tuesday, March 27, through June 17, 2012. The exhibit will open with a reception on April 15 from 2-4 p.m.

This is the eighth juried art exhibition that began in 1998 to showcase recent work by both emerging and established artists throughout Westchester County. It is the only show of its kind open exclusively to Westchester County artists. Works submitted must have been created within the last two years (2010-2011).
