HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (05/10/2013)(readMedia)-- At Final Convocation on April 25, Hampden-Sydney College senior Thomas John Ewing, Jr. received the Lewis and Nell Drew Student Government Award, presented by Mr. Justin Pugh, H-SC Class of 2014 and President of Student Government. This award recognizes significant service by an individual, through student government, to the College or community.
Thomas played varsity football for two years and is President of the Rifle Association. He is a member of the Pre-Law Society, the Minority Student Union, the Society of 1791 leadership program, and the Sigma Nu Animal Rescue Club. A psychology and foreign affairs major, Thomas graduated from Heritage High School and is the son of Tom & Shelly Ewing of Leesburg.
