STORM LAKE, IA (01/08/2013)(readMedia)-- Three BVU students started January internships at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center (BVRMC). They will also spend one week during the month at another area hospital. From left at the Jan. 7 "white coat" ceremony for the students at BVRMC are Dr. Rick Lampe, professor of biology; Colton Webber, senior athletic trailing/pre-med major from Turnerville, Ga.; Andrew Schanbacher, junior biology major from Newhall; Caitlin Hoff, junior biochemistry, biology, chemistry and psychology quadruple major from Yankton, S.D., and Dr. Kristy McClellan, assistant professor of biology. Colton will also intern for a week at Loring Hospital in Sac City. Andrew will also intern at the Pocahontas Community Hospital and Caitlin will intern at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.
