Top Dogs Take Honors at Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (08/23/2017) (readMedia)-- A SharPei shown by Josie Hill of Mitchellville was named Best in Show during the Dog Show judged Sunday at the 2017 Iowa State Fair.

Bridget Holcomb of Winterset won Best Junior Handler honors with her German Shorthair Pointer.

In the Obedience competition, a Mix Breed shown by Koryn Bakken of Decorah claimed the Highest Scoring Junior Handler, and the Sheltie shown by Alisha Ford of Grinnell was the Highest Scoring Dog.
