DES MOINES, IA (09/17/2024) (readMedia)-- Judges viewed 118 animals from 87 exhibitors in the FFA Market Meat Goat show and 227 animals from 136 exhibitors in the FFA Breeding Meat Goat show. The honors were awarded Thursday, August 15, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.
Champion Market Meat Goat was awarded to Avery Shalla, Lone Tree FFA, Lone Tree. Max Petzenhauser of Roland-Story FFA, Story City, claimed the Reserve Champion Market Meat Goat title.
Grand Champion Commercial Doe was awarded to Adam Ahrendsen of LaPorte-Dysart FFA, LaPorte City, and Tucker Luellen of ADM FFA, Adel, claimed the Reserve Champion Commercial Doe.
