LA MIRADA, CA (01/16/2014)(readMedia)--  Delanie Eng, a distance runner out of Trabuco Hills High School, committed to Head Coach Jonathan Zimmerman's track and field and cross country programs.

Eng ran cross country and distance track for the Mustangs in one of the most competitive high school running leagues, the South Coast League.

"Delanie is the most humble and well-grounded individual, and she will be a great addition to our team," said Zimmerman. "She understands the competitive nature of cross country and track and field. She has shown great improvement in her race times every year."

Eng led her cross country team to a second place finish in the Orange County Championships in fall 2013. She was also a part of the team that finished third in the Calfornia state meet and second in the CIF-SS championships.

She will enter Biola as a freshman in fall 2014 and major in graphic arts.
