Transfinder Adds Software Engineer and Product Manager

SCHENECTADY, NY (01/26/2009)(readMedia)-- Transfinder, a national leader in transportation management solutions for school districts, today announced that two new employees joined its development and product management teams. Andrew Smith is senior software engineer, responsible for researching and developing new initiatives that will be the framework for enhancing the company's suite of software solutions. For the past three and half years Smith was the Development Manager for Special Projects at InfoEd International. During this time he supported the design and piloted the development of a grant management system, allowing organizations to track the life of their grants. Smith brings 14 years of development experience to his new position and also has been a contributing author for a development book published by Que Publishing.

Ercan Hocalar is product manager, responsible for defining the functional requirements for current and new products to meet customer needs and market demands. Prior to joining Transfinder, Hocalar was product support director at InfoEd International, where he was responsible for client support and relations for the company's 125 international clients, and managed the software development life cycle for 12 software modules. He also spent five years as project manager for TransWorld Entertainment.

In addition to new hires, several long-time employees have assumed new roles: Greg P. Zibro is now vice president of business development, a leadership position in sales, where he will reach out to new markets, partners, and customers. Larry Lee Fiber is now senior product manager for Transfinder's flagship transportation management system. In this role, he will maintain the product's competitive advantage by meeting the changing needs of current customers and the market at large. Brian Elder is now quality assurance analyst for Transfinder's suite of products and solutions. In this role he will define testing protocols and tools for current and future products.
