Truth Pharm's 9th Annual Trail of Truth to Honor Lives Lost to Substance Use Across New York State

BINGHAMTON, NY (08/16/2024) (readMedia)-- A powerful, community-created memorial arts installation and march that honors loved ones lost to substance use-related causes. The event will include a memorial cemetery, healing and creative activities, organizations tabling, and a series of speakers and performers. The event will culminate in a live performance art piece at the governmental plaza.

WHO:

Truth Pharm, a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for and supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorders, will host its 9th annual Trail of Truth event. This event will feature community members, as well as notable speakers such as Sheila Vakharia Vestal native author and researcher with Drug Policy Alliance, Lisa Skill from the New York State Department of Health, Office of Drug User Health, and Marissa Lamphere from the Broome County Department of Health.
