Turlock Native Eric Bonander Named to Western Water Polo Association All-Academic Team

WHITTER, CA (06/11/2012)(readMedia)--  Whittier College senior water polo player Eric Bonander was named to the Western Water Polo Assiciation's (WWPA) All-Academic Team.

The team consists of members who carried a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), played in at least 50-percent of the team's contests in the sports respective season and was classified as a full-time student who has completed a minimum of one semester or two quarters at his institution.

The junior utility player comes to Whittier College from Turlock, Calif. He completed the season with 9 goals on 19 attempts, 12 assists, 22 drawn ejections, and 11 steals.
