Turnpike to Restrict Traffic on North Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township
Daytime lane closures continue next week in King of Prussia.
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (05/12/2011)(readMedia)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling on North Gulph Road, between First Avenue and Guthrie Road in King of Prussia, to be prepared for daytime single lane closures to continue next week for work already in progress on the Turnpike mainline bridge that carries I-76 over State Route 422 and North Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County.
Daytime lane closures, scheduled weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., have been extended through May 20.
GAI Consultants began test drilling operations on May 3 as part of the Turnpike's future reconstruction and widening project between milepost 320-326 currently in design.
Final design will continue on this project through 2012 and construction is anticipated to begin in early 2013.
