Twelve from KU Women's Lacrosse Named to 2024 IWLCA Honor Roll

Kutztown University women's lacrosse earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad accolades, as well as 12 members landing on the Academic Honor Roll.

KU was among 324 programs at the NCAA Division I, Division II Division III and NAIA to be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for the prestigious honor, the team must have posted a 3.2 grade point average or higher for the entire 2023-24 academic year. The Golden Bears recorded a 3.57 GPA.

The 12 student-athletes on the honor roll include Madeline Anemone, Kelly Askins, Jenna Blesson, Kayla Brooks, Emily Christiansen, Olivia Eilbacher, Marissa Giancola, Sam Graf, Shannon Lake, Emma Meakim, Rory Nilsen and Robin Spector. It is the second straight appearance for Anemone, Askins, Lake, Meakim and Spector.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

This marks the third consecutive season that Kutztown has earned Academic Honor Squad status under head coach Kristen Nicholson.
