ALBANY, NY (12/24/2022) (readMedia)-- Teens that will not be home for Christmas will receive a Christmas to remember from Victory Church in Albany and Colonie.
It all starts with a visit to Troy NY and ends in Albany NY The kids staying in Vanderhyden group home will get a Visit at 10:30 AM a special delivery of hundreds of gifts individually wrapped will be delivered to every group cottage for Christmas. Kids will open on Christmas Day. Every teen to receive a pair of Nikes.
At 8 PM on Christmas Eve a box truck will pull up to St. Ann's institute for girls and hundreds of gifts will be dropped off and every girl will receive personal gifts they asked for and others. All personaly wrapped with a Christmas stocking and card.
At 9:30 PM the truck will go to LaSalle home for boys and deliver gifts for every teen boy. Everyone of these Kids will get a new pair of Nike sneakers and many personal gifts especially for them.
Many times at Christmas these are the ones forgotten and 25 years ago it all started with gifts to just a few and this year will be the largest giveaway ever.

Victory Church in Albany & Colonie has been working on this project for weeks and on this one day it all comes together.
Members of the church will personally be able to share Christmas with these kids. Tonight the kids will open their gifts given to them in person.
Victory will hold a Christmas Eve Service at 6 PM in Colonie and after church at 7 PM the truck will be loaded up for delivery and a time of sharing Christmas with these kids a Christmas to remember.
