Two Chosen as Students of the Month for February 2013 at Thiel College

GREENVILLE, PA (02/06/2013)(readMedia)-- Two seniors, Katelyn Young and Kayla Ohlin, have been chosen as the Students of the Month at Thiel College for February 2013.

Young is a senior biology major from Monongahela, Pa. She is a member of the Honors Program, Lambda Sigma sophomore honorary, concert band and the Tomcat Marching Pride. She is a member of the Dean's List consistently and is a Thiel Presidential Scholarship recipient. She plans to attend medical school in the future.

Ohlin is an accounting and business administration major (with a minor in English) from New Middletown, Ohio. An honors student, she is a member of the Dean's List and Alpha Chi, Lambda Sigma (sophomore), Chi Eta Sigma (commerce) and Sigma Tau Delta (English) honoraries. Ohlin has pursued international travel experiences to Mexico, Spain and South Korea and is very committed to service and civic activities on campus, in Greenville and in her hometown. She plans to become a certified public accountant after graduation.

Students of the Month at Thiel College are selected by faculty vote from among senior students with superior grade point averages.
