Tyler Cotterell of Lincroft is Inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa

CHESTERTOWN, MD (03/19/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Tyler Cotterell '13 of Lincroft, NJ was recently inducted into the MU of Maryland Chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa sheltered at Washington College.
Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, was founded December 3, 1914 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. Its founders formulated the idea that leadership of exceptional quality and versatility in college should be recognized, that representatives in all phases of college life should cooperate in worthwhile endeavors, and that outstanding students, faculty and administrators should meet on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness.
Cotterell is majoring in history and minoring in economics. He is a member of the history honor society, Phi Alpha Theta, and serves as an assistant area director and resident assistant. A graduate of Middletown South High School, Cotterell is also the captain of Washington College's varsity baseball team.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
