Tyler Keef Honored at Western New England College School of Engineering

SPRINGFIELD, MA (06/20/2011)(readMedia)-- Tyler E. Keef of Sweden, ME received the James V. Masi Creative Excellence Award during Baccalaureate ceremonies at Western New England College. The award is given by the electrical and computer engineering faculty to the student or students judged to have shown both creativity and initiative in their senior project.

Keef graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He served as treasurer of the student chapter of IEEE and as a Peer Tutuor. Keef was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Beta Tau, and Mortar Board honor societies. Last summer, he completed an internship at Westinghouse's Nuclear Robotics Division. He plans on pursuing a Ph.D. starting this fall.
