UNG cadet Maynard takes part in Army nursing program
William Maynard, a cadet at the University of North Georgia (UNG), took part in the Army's prestigious Nurse Summer Training Program (NSTP) earlier this year.
Maynard, a senior pursuing a degree in nursing, spent his 29 days of NSTP working at Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, Colorado. He said he appreciated the level of trust the staff there placed in him, which allowed him to grow in his skills.
