USW's Ciara Fraher earns RRAC 'Pitcher of the Week'

HOBBS, NM (02/09/2011)(readMedia)-- Ciara Fraher of the University of the Southwest (N.M.) was selected as the Red River Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played between Jan. 31-Feb. 6.
Fraher, a freshman pitcher/outfielder from El Centro, Calif., picked up the 5-3 victory against Panhandle State University (Okla.) while allowing just two earned runs on seven hits. She walked two with one strikeout in the game, while helping the Lady Mustangs' offense with three hits including a grand slam and six RBIs in the double-header.
