SCRANTON, PA (06/20/2011)(readMedia)-- Stacey Ann Legg, Garwood, and Christopher John Luby, Scotch Plains, were among the 68 students honored by The University of Scranton during its undergraduate Class Night ceremony. The Jesuit university awarded outstanding members of the Class of 2011 for academic achievement and service.
Legg was the recipient of the Excellence in Community Health Education Award. She earned a bachelor of science in community health education.
Legg served as vice president of the Community Health Education Club and was a member of the Student Advisory Board of the Leahy Clinic.
Legg plans on seeking employment as a certified health education specialist followed by graduate studies.
She graduated from Arthur L. Johnson High School, Clark.
Luby received the Excellence in Chemistry Award. He earned a bachelor of science in Chemistry.
Luby plans to seek employment in his area of study after graduation.
He is a graduate of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, Scotch Plains.
