CHARLESTON, WV (03/15/2012)(readMedia)-- Paige DeHart, a senior at Scott High School in Foster, has been offered a Welch Colleague scholarship at the University of Charleston. Welch Colleagues are students who explore individual leadership styles, working toward a goal of designing and implementing community change projects. Fifteen students are chosen for the program each year, gaining the opportunity to work with peers who have similar concerns as well as leaders in nonprofit organizations.
The University of Charleston is an independent, coeducational, comprehensive university located in the heart of West Virginia, serving approximately 1,400 students from 37 states and 22 countries.
