Join the Wetland Detective Monitoring Corps. 10 a.m.-noon. Become a citizen scientist and learn how to collect information on plants, birds and amphibians in Adirondack boreal wetland ecosystems. Please RSVP.

Sunday, May 22 – Feathers and Fibers Artist Reception

Anne Hughes will host a reception from 3-5 p.m. in the VIC Sun Space Gallery while showcasing her art, which she creates with a variety of natural materials.

Saturday, May 25 – Gardening with Children

Gardening teaches children to appreciate nature and to respect their environment. This workshop will arouse their interest in what could prove to be a life-long hobby and an important life skill. 10 a.m.

Thursday, May 26 – Volunteer Potluck

Get the scoop on upcoming events and activities. Sign up for volunteer opportunities and organize training sessions. Bring a dish to pass and a place setting. We will meet for hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is at 6 p.m.
