The 37-year-old winner is one of 10 Long Island Lottery players who will receive an over-sized prize check to commemorate their change of fortune. Other jackpot prize winners to receive ceremonial prize checks include:

  • A retired corrections officer from Central Islip who won at least $2,000,000 on the Money for Life scratch-off game;
  • A moving and storage manager and his wife from Massapequa who won at least $5,000,000 on the Set For Life Scratch-off game;
  • Five office building buddies from Bohemia, Deer Park, Levittown, Massapequa and West Islip who won a $1,000,000 Powerball Power Play prize, and
  • A retired operations manager from Merrick and his wife who won $1,000,000 on the Golden Opportunity scratch-off game.
