Vassalboro resident Evert Fowle elected Student Government Association Vice President at Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, CT (04/26/2012)(readMedia)-- Evert Fowle, a sophomore at Connecticut College, has been elected vice president of the Student Government Association (SGA) for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Fowle assumes many responsibilities. As vice president, he will help coordinate efforts of the SGA Assembly members, assume responsibility for a deep level of involvement in campus functions and interact with all levels of the campus administration, faculty, staff and trustees.

Fowle, a 2010 graduate of Erskine Academy, is the son of Lori and Evert Fowle, II.

The SGA considers issues and formulates policies in areas primarily or exclusively involving the student body at Conn. SGA also seeks to extend channels of communication, increase areas of cooperation and foster a greater acceptance of shared responsibility between faculty, administration and students.
