Victoria Alegria to Play Softball at Pace University

NEW YORK , NY (06/01/2011)(readMedia)-- Victoria Alegria, Torrance, CA, Middle Infield/Outfield – Alegria comes to Pace from South Torrance High School where she played second base. She has a .300 career average and a 3.4 GPA. Alegria is a lefty slapper that will add speed to the bases. She also has good range on defense and is a versatile player.

Pace University is an NCAA Division II member of the Northeast-10 Conference with 20 varsity sports teams. During the 2010-11 school year, the Pace women's volleyball team made their second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The women's basketball team also had an exceptional year, advancing to the NCAA Sweet 16 game vs. Bentley University.
