Victory Church Holds Tribute Service & "Walk of Love" In Remembrance Of Kathina Thomas

Community Rallies Together Tonight at 7:00PM

ALBANY, NY (05/29/2009)(readMedia)-- Tonight at 7:00pm people from all over the community will join together for a one-hour service at Victory Church, located at 118 Quail Street, Albany, in remembrance of 10-year old Kathina Thomas. Kathina was shot and killed by a stray bullet one year ago today. The service will focus on how her one life got the attention of a community and brought about a positive change. Everyone is welcome.

At 8:00 p.m. a "Walk of Love" is scheduled, leaving from the church and ending at the 400 block of First Street where Kathina lived for a time of prayer and reflection. At 8:20 p.m. - the time Kathina was shot last year, flowers will be handed out as a gesture of her life.
