ALBANY, NY (11/02/2012)(readMedia)-- On Thursday, November 8, 2012, Alan Chartock and the staff of WAMC will take to the airwaves to raise money for the victims of Superstorm Sandy. The American Red Cross Northeastern New York Region's CEO Gary Striar added, "The American Red Cross is grateful to WAMC and their listeners for their support of the Hurricane Sandy relief effort. It is only through the generosity of donors like this that we are able to provide shelter, food and comfort to thousands who are in need."
