WAMC's the Roundtable Broadcasts Live from Williamstown Theatre Festival

ALBANY, NY (07/15/2010)(readMedia)-- WAMC/Northeast Public Radio's flagship morning program, The Roundtable, will broadcast live from the Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF) in Williamstown, MA on Friday, July 16th between 9:00 a.m. and noon.

Joe Donahue, Alan Chartock, and Sarah LaDuke will welcome Williamstown Theatre Festival's Artistic Director and director of their production of Our Town, Nicky Martin. After a conversation with just Nicky, The Roundtable will welcome actors from Our Town, Campbell Scott, Jess Hecht, Will Rogers and Brie Larson. They will get a season overview from WTF Artistic Associate, Justin Waldman and then they'll speak about the play he directed this season, Samuel J. and K.. That show's actors - Justin Long and Owiso Odera will be there, too, along with playwright, Mat Smart. The Roundtable will learn about WTF's Fellowship Project with Artistic Associate, Amanda Charlton, playwright Noah Haidle, and Davis McCallum. Playwright Amy Herzog and Director Carolyn Cantor will speak about After the Revolution. Joe, Alan, and Sarah will learn about The Last Goodbye: A Musical Adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet with music and lyrics by Jeff Buckley - the show was conceived and adapted by Kris Kukul, is directed by Michael Kimmel, and choreographed by Sonya Tayeh. Kukul, Kimmel, and Tayeh will speak with Donahue, Chartock, and LaDuke.
