WKCTC Offering New Do-It-Yourself Classes

PADUCAH, KY (09/04/2018) West Kentucky Community and Technical College is offering a new Do-It-Yourself (DIY) community education classes to help individuals fix minor electrical projects themselves. Early registration is encouraged.

Each of the three DIY classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anderson Technical Building, Room 150. The cost is $15 for each class.

Licensed electrician Vincent Duncan will be the instructor for the series.

  • How to Change a Light Fixture - September 18
  • How to Replace a Receptacle - October 2
  • How to Replace a Light Switch - October 23

Participants will need to bring their own tools which include cutting pliers, stripper and screw drivers (flat and Phillips). They will learn important safety measures and the steps needed to complete the DYI projects.
