WKCTC Pharmacy Technology students recognized National Pharmacy Technician Day

National Pharmacy Technician Day 2019 was October 15. In a morning math calculations class, several students in the Pharmacy Technology Program at West Kentucky Community and Technical College celebrated the day with an eye-opening cake. A pharmacy technician plays a vital role in assisting pharmacists and providing safe care to patients in a wide variety of settings. Future employment for these students may include pharmacy settings in retail, hospital, compounding, veterinary, and oncology centers. Nice job!
